About Us

The right person in the right role changes everything. For the business. For the career. That is what good recruitment looks like.

about1.png

I am Corine Duke, a specialist recruitment consultant with over two decades in operations and industrial leadership. A decade of that was spent inside the industries I now recruit for, running national operations, managing complex contracts in high-risk environments and leading multi-site teams across Australia. The other decade has been spent placing the people who do that work.

That combination is rare in recruitment. When a hiring manager briefs me on a role, I understand what they are actually describing, not just the words, but the pressure behind them, the gap they are trying to fill and what good looks like in that seat at twelve months. For candidates, it means I know your market, your roles and the environments you work in. I will not waste your time or push you toward something that is not right for you.

Why Corine Duke
Recruitment exists.

Recruitment can be so much more than a transaction. At its best it is a genuine partnership, one where the time invested at the start, understanding the role, the team, the culture and what success actually looks like, is what makes the difference between a placement that works and one that does not.

I started this business because I believe that standard is achievable every time, when the process is right and the relationships on both sides are genuine. My best work happens when I get to partner exclusively from the beginning, unpacking the brief properly, mapping the market thoroughly and going to candidates with a level of depth and conviction that a rushed or volume-driven search never allows.

That is the standard I hold myself to, on every search, for every person involved.

What I stand for

Honesty over comfort

I say what needs to be said, about the brief, the salary, the market, the candidate. Even when it is not what you want to hear. Especially then.

Process protects people

A thorough process at the start is not slow. It is how I make sure nobody wastes their time, their money or their reputation. Getting it right the first time is the only standard I work to.

People before transactions

Every candidate is a professional making a consequential career decision. Every employer is trusting me with something that genuinely matters. Neither gets treated like a number.

Accountable to the outcome

My name is on every placement I make. That accountability does not end at offer acceptance. I measure success at twelve months and beyond, because a placement that genuinely works for both sides is the only result worth claiming.

How I work

I start with the right questions.

Before I search for anyone I invest time understanding what is actually needed. For employers that means challenging the brief, understanding the culture and agreeing on what success looks like at twelve months. For candidates it means understanding your motivations, your goals and what genuinely matters to you, not just what your CV says.

I find people others do not.

The best candidates are rarely looking. They are settled, performing well and not thinking about moving until the right conversation happens at the right moment. My network, my market knowledge and my ability to have that conversation gives employers access to people a job board never will. For candidates it means I may call you before you have even started looking.

Your interests come first.

A placement is only a success if it works for both sides. I work in the genuine interests of the employer and the candidate equally. That means honest feedback in both directions, no pressure and no placing someone I do not genuinely believe is right.

The placement is just the beginning.

My involvement does not end at the offer. I check in at one, three, six and twelve months because I care about whether the placement actually worked. For candidates that means continued support and career advice. For employers it means I remain accountable long after the start date.

What people say about
working with me.
